Running a WordPress business is fantastic but you have to keep up with your money. This is where accounting, payment processing and more steps in. It’s not enough to have just a back account for your business. Below are a few tools that we use or recommend to people in the WordPress business world.
Our Favorite WordPress business tools in this list include:
- Freshbooks – Our favorite! Makes invoicing painless, easy and can be automated.
- Stripe – The best way to take credit cards for your business. You can accept Amex, Discover, Diner, Mastercard and Visa
- Xero – Business accounting software. (Most people default to Quickbooks, which is fine, but we have found Xero to be a fantastic alternative due to its ability to integrate with other cloud software)
- PennyPipe – Automatically reconcile Stripe to Xero (so you can write off the credit card transaction fees)
- Zapier – Add automation to everything, including your WordPress business
